No New Posts River Aevum

The river sets at the edge of the ruins, below a medium sized hill of sorts. Small pebbles and rocks outline the waters pathway. Trees, plants, and shrubs also follow the river, shading the surface, hiding sections from various creatures. However, locals and inhabitants to the ruins easily find the calmer areas. Such spots are easier to play in, drink from, and cross over from. After all, if one were to simply dart down to the river, they would only find rapid currents and large boulders. But, various small pathways lead to shallow water, of which is casually around two or three feet.

If one did not start at the beginning of a path, from the ruins, they would find it difficult to spot one. The tiny paths were once tame and taken care of. In the past, they were wider and tree were trimmed to avoid the area. Even so, after the humans disappeared, the trees began to fall like canopies around the paths. Grass even began to eat away at the road, covering it and making it harder to follow. Of course, if one tries hard enough, they can find their way through. Just try to avoid wandering off randomly, unless you wish for an adventure.

One of the older pieces, the church sits on top of the mountain. Some parts of the walls have fallen apart, leaving gaps and various entrances. Also, moss and various green plants have taken over the top of the fixture. Smaller stones are also placed on one side of the broken building. And though the building does not seem to provide much security, it truthfully is a safe place to be. Not only does the lookout from nearby help, but the ruin sits high and makes it hard to fall for sneak attacks. When the sun just begins to rise, the church is the first thing that the light hits.

It is unknown as to what the building was once used for. Still, the animals that now inhabit the lands often use it as a lookout of some kind. The tiny, rocky creation is made up of three levels, of which tiny stairs make their way to the top level. Looking out the window of the topmost space gives a varied look around the entire area. One can easily spot any danger coming. Also, around the building lies small stoned pathways that lead to the graveyard and old church, as well as the arched walls. Small bushes and trees are also found surrounding the building.

This arched path sits farther than any of the ruins, and it is distant from the river. However, it is very safe, surrounded by trees and all kinds of plants. One could also hide behind the large pillars. But the best feature is a circular building that lies at the end of the archways. The cylinder reaches into the sky. Of course, to this building, there is really no other levels, and it is no where near as tall as the lookout. Stairs simply run up to the top, where a small exit is found that leads to the roof. If one desired to, they could easily jump from the roof onto one of the archways.

Board Description
The Ruins
Humans, at one time, thrived on a part of the island. And though they are no more, they have left some of their objects behind. Walls and rock based buildings are truthfully the only things that have survived over the many years. And even those creations have begun to fall apart. However, for as long as they do last, they do provide some shelter from the outside world. A fresh water source lies not too far from the area. It is also believed that the humans used it for their own needs, as a faded path dwindles from the ruins to the river.
