Name: Cylisa
Meaning: White Wolf Of the Rains
Nickname: N/A
Age: 4 winters
Pack: Loner
Rank: Loner
Mate/Crush: None- not looking [but don't be discouraged if YOU are ;] ]
Appearance: Cylisa is a large and muscular white wolf, with her front left paw black, as though she had run in ink as a pup. Her fur is thick, but it only helps protect her in fights, for she truly is as big as she seems, standing at about three feet tall, and about four and a half feet long, nose to tail tip. Her eyes are a normal, wolfish crisp yellow, able to catch many details unavailable to others. She has only one distinctive feature, which happens to be a small black collar around her neck. It is the right size, but by small, is that it is very thin, and mostly unnoticeable unless one looks for it.
Personality: Cylisa is fiercely loyal, especially to those that she knows. She prefers to help others, and save them from life's pitfalls and other inconviences in life. She is steadfast in protection and prefers to help people rather then being alone. She is normally very quiet, though it is often percieved as stiffness, coldness, or aloofness, it's more that Cylisa is simply shy, and prefers not to interact too much with new people. Yet once someone has entered her circle, she is fully over them, and easy to communicate with. Only one thing is, is that she really gets angry when someone attempts to hurt her loved ones, and would put herself in danger to save them.
History: Cylisa was raised in a fairly loving environment, her siblings and parents taking great care of her in a pack they had started of their own. Yet very quickly, a larger pack of wolves ran Cylisa's family out, and in the process, Cylisa, only half a year old, wandered and became lost. She followed her instincts and retreated to the cave the family had sheltered in. But by now, the new pack had moved in, and luckily, the mother and alphess took her in. Yet Cylisa never felt that she belonged, and by three, she left the pack to become a loner, and has been so ever since.
Roleplay sample: Cylisa watched her mother reenter the sheet of light with the scent of meat among her. I had not, until recently, understood the light wall. It had seemed for a while that only my father could exit it, but then later, my mother did too. And quite quickly, my brother's and sister's followed. One day, I had decided to investigate for myself. It led to a world that was almost too huge for my baby eyes. but indeed, a rabbit carcass was laying outside, and my mother and sibling's nudged me towards it before showing me how to eat it. It tasted similar to what I'd been fed after my mother's milk, but it seemed fresher, and full of the world.
After a while, I grew accustomed to what was our land. Mine, my mother's, my father's, my two brothers and four sisters. I grew quickly and ran a lot, often, I would run ahead of our border patrol, and it didn't always do me good. One time when I had done that, I scared off a huge heard of beasts, and only thanks to my parents did they not crush me with those hard feet. The next day, I was taken hunting back to that herd, and, with some help, of course, brought down my first 'elk'. I was ecstatic, and we all ate and slept there at the carcass, woke up, finished it, and headed back to the cave.
When we came back, there was a different smell, and strong too. Another pack had moved in. This one was huge! It had several grown wolves, and even more puppies. They were menacing, as they all lined against us and growled for us to leave or fight. My father and mother realised that it would not help to fight, yet those wolves chased us anyways. I grew frantic, and ran the wrong way. The three wolves that chased me noticed this, and took me back.
"She may stay as long as she wants. They all may have stayed, but they seemed content to remain small, and we are already too large." The alpha growled in a low, husky voice that was comforting and menacing, but full of majesty, his yellow eyes seemed to welcome me home.
I never was comfortable there though, and by the time that I could tell some of the younger males were looking at me, I grew tired, and decided to adventure my own way, as many of the packs' young ones were planning as well. It was simply too large a pack to keep everyone happy.
Now, I am wandering, and somewhat content, but, I can tell that soon, I will need a partner. Though I constantly deny myself this all the time. It will come when nature wants him to come...
