Yes, all of the above posted is true. -____- I remember how excited I was to see Isidar Mithrim shattered..... but it never was. I was devastated. And wasn't Brom's crystal sealing thing in the desert?

It was I wanted to see that whole part. Not only was it in the desert but I also belive it was underground right? So no one would tamper with it -sigh- such good books become such c rated movies these days

-___- So true. But Lord of the Rings was excellent. One of the few, I believe. My dad read the books, and he said they were almost perfect.

Oh that was good but thats cause peter jacksons a bad ass. And those movies where like three hours a piece and had a huge budget so they had to make it good, but still Eragon could have been way better

Very true. I was furious about that scene, too. (Oh yes, Brom was sealed in crystal, but it was not underground. Eragon and Saphira left him at the top of a mountain/thing so that everyone could see. That was also the point of the crystal).
I never read the books, but the movies for Lord of the Rings were fabulous. (I still wish to watch them again, even today. I sadly do not have the dvds. So unfair...).
I am just starting the Harry Potter books, so I can't really complain yet. I have heard that the movies left out many key events and characters. (Truthfully, because I have not read the books, I adore the movies! Order of the Phoenix still leaves me speechless!) But...have either of you read the books already? And if you have, do you still like the movies?

Why is it, that almost every book is destroyed by a movie? (So many answers, but none matter to the loyal readers).

I was wondering where the intro topic was. Lol, Oops. Uh, hi everybody, my name is Bri but on here I guess I'm Jill. Hopefully no one's going to take my first name and become my internet stalker, now. I'm new to the site (duh)(I love this layout btw) and... well I suppose I should say a thing or two about me, huh? My favorite color is yellow like a smiley face , I love to read stuff, my favorite authors are probably CS Lewis, JRR Tolkein, JK Rowling, and Jules Verne, I've got an online addiction to smileys as far as I can tell , an offline addiction to mint chocolate and lemon-flavored stuff, my love for wolves is actually second to my kitty-birdie loves (don't shoot me!) but the creatures are amazingly beautiful and the roleplays are usually pretty awesome , I'm told at least that I have no sense of direction and a lousy memory , uh, I have rambling tendencies (naw, ya think?), I'm in a state of Misery (locationwise, I'm really a very happy person), and my clothing style has been described as "Baliwood". *confusedish* So, uh, hello! (That took me to long...)

Ello Jill. ^^.
Lol. Well, we have Sigath to thank for this beautiful layout. (Course you probably know that).
I love those authors too. Well, save for Jules Verne. (I have never read any of his books). Lol. I can't say I know what a kitty-birdie is. Unless of course you mean them to be separate. But I am obsessed with cats. ^^ They are so cute. "Ballwood" Well, I cannot say that random words is my specialty. I have difficulties figuring things like that out. Besides, I do not think I have hear it before...-
Once again, welcome to the site. ^^.

Thanks Silver! Baliwood is like Indian Hollywood, from the city of Bali. I don't know if you've heard of Bride and Prejudice? That movie's an example of Baliwood. Mucho colorfulo. ^^ Lol, yea I meant cats and birds separately. I've been obsessed with kittehs since I was three and our first one followed us home. ;D *huggles* Do you have a favorite breed?
